Who Launch is for

Launch suits a wealth management or accountancy firm that wants reliable IT and core security handled by one accountable team, rather than a helpdesk for the day-to-day and a separate arrangement for security. It is the right starting point for firms of roughly 5 to 50 staff that need their technology looked after properly, with a clear plan for the future, but do not yet need the deeper human risk, incident response and governance layers that the Build and Scale plans add.

We treat IT and security as one conversation from the first day, because that is where risk hides when they are split. When we take a firm on we document what exists, remove what is not used and bring the configuration to a standard we are prepared to put our name against. We refuse to inherit chaos and maintain it.

What is included

Launch is built from six managed services, run together rather than sold as parts.

• Managed IT. Full-service helpdesk with business hours support and emergency response, asset inventory, vendor management, onboarding and offboarding, service ticket reporting and patch management.
• Client Success Programme. Quarterly strategy sessions, technology alignment planning, regular assessments and compliance alignment, so your IT always has a plan for the next quarter.
• Managed Network. Server support, 24x7 network and infrastructure monitoring and documentation of how your environment is built.
• Managed Security. Managed firewall, endpoint protection and response, Microsoft 365 security monitoring, advanced email security, DNS filtering, privileged access management and cloud backup for Microsoft 365.
• Managed Backup. Cloud backup for Microsoft 365, server backup monitoring and regular backup testing, because a backup you have never restored is only a hope.
• Managed Cloud. Microsoft 365 management, licence procurement and management, and email signature management.

When firms move beyond Launch

Most regulated firms reach a point where they need to evidence how they manage human risk and respond to incidents. That is the Build plan, which adds dark web monitoring, a password manager, phishing simulations and training, incident response planning, vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection. Firms that need fractional CIO or CTO leadership, Cyber Essentials monitoring and a 24/7 Security Operations Centre move to the Scale plan. What the monthly fee does not cover

Hardware and consumables, large project work such as major migrations, third-party software licences, and out-of-hours work for systems outside your agreement sit outside the plan. Anything beyond it is quoted and agreed before we start.
